Client is looking for an experienced Sr. Azure DevOps Engineer to be responsible for code deployment, propagation, and maintenance. You will be responsible for creating and implementing best practices to the organization for DevOps, builds, continuous integration, deployment and infrastructure. Implement monitoring processes and design/deploy monitoring dashboards. Build, support system automation, deployment, and continuous integration tools.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline the process of provisioning and automation of multiple deployment environments.
- Optimize core algorithm libraries and create novel algorithms for vector preprocessing, index building, and querying.
- Analyze algorithm performance and formulate technical plans and benchmarks for improvements.
- Participate in the development of high-performance vector indexing frameworks.
- Provide support for the optimization of popular vector indexing algorithms.
- Strong analytical skills and trouble-shooting ability.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
Qualifications
- Experience in writing Azure pipeline yaml and build scripts.
- Knowledge of Cloud best practices, operations, and security within Azure DevOps.
- Experience with SCM tools, Azure git as the primary, and a solid understanding of process and best practices
- Ability to write scripts in a variety of languages, but not limited to Python, PowerShell, Shell.
- Experience in vector similarity search algorithms or GPU programming (e.g., CUDA) is preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD Best Practices for Release.
