Client is looking for an experienced Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer to build a new CPC application within Google Cloud Platform. You will be responsible for maintaining Google Cloud containers and processes.
Responsibilities
- Build a new CPC application within Google Cloud Platform platform.
- Responsibilities will also include support of the application
- Develop and maintain Google cloud containers/processes
Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience in Distributed Multi-tier Application Development, Database Design, Data processing, Data Warehouse.
- MUST HAVE EITHER .NET or JAVA EXPERIENCE.
- Experience in migrating at least one medium to large application data from on prem to Google Cloud Platform Experience designing data solutions on Cloud Platform with Data Migrations BI etc
- Experience documenting design flow diagrams sequence context diagrams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills experience working in client collaborative environment on Data driven projects.
- Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for private public and hybrid cloud models including IaaS PaaS and other cloud services.
- Deep DBMS experience on multiple platforms Incl Oracle Teradata and SQL Server
- Advanced understanding of data warehousing ETL concepts esp. change data capture.
- Good understanding of ETL development and tools Teradata AB Initio Python
- Sound understanding of Cloud products such as BigQuery Composer Data Flow Data proc
- Working experience as Agile developer and good understanding of SDLC methodologies guidelines Experience at Python YAML scripting Knowledge of Financial domain is preferred.
