Client is looking for an experienced Java MicroServices Lead with a solid experience with RESTful APIs and JSON/SOAP based API with Java in Azure environment.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing large distributed, scalable, reliable, and highly-available solutions; proven experience in architecture combined with strong object-oriented (OO) design skills; understanding of enterprise software design patterns and data structures
- Strong understanding of distributed systems & Micro services
- Setup new development workflows, do peer reviews and provide meaningful feedback to the team through peer reviews
- Create new applications from scratch and guide the team on best practices on Java Spring Boot.
- Communicate with product owners, engineering managers & development teams; be a leader who can guide product owners & development teams to ensure the best design for the product
- Lead & design applications from inception to production
Qualifications
- Able to independently take technology decisions on design & architecture
- Be a team lead (with experience leading 15+ developer teams)
- Excellent handle on JAVA Spring Boot – can create new applications from scratch and guide the team on best practices
- Strong knowledge & expertise in GitHub (or equivalent)
