Position title
MarkLogic Developer / Engineer
Description

Client is looking for an MarkLogic Admin / Developer with extensive experience in MarkLogic Database Management.

Responsibilities
  • Data engineering, modeling and architecture of NoSQL data solution
  • Design and develop enterprise services using HTTP REST-based APIs and API management
  • Data Ingestion using NiFi, Big Data ingestion or other ETL tools
  • Technical solutions development for using J2EE and/or JSE framework, using a Java IDEs (e.g. Eclipse, Intelli J, Netbeans)
  • Code migrations from development to higher environments with a good understanding of software development life-cycle practices, preferred
  • Comfortable with Admin related tasks such as:
    • MarkLogic Database Management
    • Security Logins/Users Management
    • Re-indexing, Performance, Jobs management
    • Cluster nodes/AMI and MarkLogic Patching
Qualifications
  • Extensive integration experience with MarkLogic Data Hub
  • Experience with XML JSON, JavaScript technologies and standards
  • Experience with RDBMS, data access technologies and procedural languages such as ANSI SQL, T-SQL or PL\SQL
  • Well versed with Agile and Waterfall processes
  • Experience designing appropriate load and performance test plans with tuning acumen.
  • Ability to profile Java applications including threading issues, examining thread dumps, heap dumps, etc. and tune database performance bottlenecks
  • Development experience with various on-premise and SaaS ERP (e.g. NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, etc.), CRM (e.g. SalesForce, Oracle, etc.), HR (e.g. Workday, Oracle, etc.), and Social (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, etc.) platforms, preferred
