Client is looking for an experienced S/4HANA Project Manager, to execute MIGRATION from ECC 6.0 to S/4HANA

Responsibilities

KEY DELIVERABLES / RESPONSIBILITIES_

  • SAP ECC 6.0 Application Management
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the existing SAP ECC6 landscape, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and availability.
    • Lead a team responsible for application support, incident resolution, and change management within the ECC6 environment.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define, prioritize, and execute enhancement requests and system improvements.
  • S/4HANA Transformation
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive roadmap for migrating from SAP ECC6 to S/4 HANA, including planning, design, testing, and deployment phases.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of S/4 HANA, managing timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
    • Drive change management efforts, ensuring smooth adoption of the new system across the organization.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Engage with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to understand requirements, align strategies, and drive continuous improvement.
    • Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business units, translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • A deep understanding of SAP modules, functionalities, and integration points, particularly in ECC6 and S/4 HANA.
    • Provide guidance and support to technical teams in troubleshooting complex issues and optimizing system performance.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for improvement within the SAP landscape.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, data security, and regulatory requirements.
  • ECC 6.0 Merger
    • Work with Customer IT leadership to put together SAP ECC 6.0 transition plan for the new acquisition understanding SAP, Bolt-ons and other applications.
    • Ability to assess & identify risks, assumptions, dependencies and issues. Put together a mitigation plan and execute.
    • Ability to understand technology nuances and de-risk with a foresight.
Qualifications
  • Experience working in SAP/ERP implementations and merger and acquisition integrations.
  • PM should be able to prepare Project plan with our inputs.
  • Able to track status and follow up with internal team, stake holders.
  • Organize meetings to complete the work in time.
  • Work late/weekend during critical tasks such as cutover, go-live.
  • Must be results-oriented – our business stakeholders look for creative ways to achieve business benefits quickly.
  • Excellent analytical skills – must be able to quickly analyze issues and facilitate development of mitigation plans.
  • Working well with a diverse group of technical and non-technical colleagues and being able to lead them to delivering their overall objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – influencing, negotiating, and leading people inside and outside of IT.
  • Excellent team building skills.  
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning skills with experience in Microsoft Project & Smartsheet. We use KeyedIn projects for Portfolio Management in which we will train.
  • Experience and knowledge of business processes and applications regarding website consolidation is a plus for these positions.
