Client is looking for an experienced Sr. Snowflake Admin - the Senior Software Engineer shall provide daily management and maintenance of core enterprise systems and ensure performance, system monitoring, addressing unresolved issues, and providing infrastructure support for modifications and modernization.
Responsibilities
- Design & Implementation of Snowflake warehouse on Azure
- User and Role Management
- Configure Snowflake Network policies.
- Configure Snowflake Virtual Private Snowflake (VPS)
- Configurable Row-level security setup and management
- Provisioning Activities
- Create Snowflake Warehouses
- Define Snowflake warehouses to allocate resources for processing queries.
- Specify the size, scaling options, and concurrency level for each warehouse
- Resource monitoring and management
- Manage credit-usage to control cost effectively
- Backup and Restore, DR Management
- Configure Snowflake Data Sharing
- Provision and enable data transfer from Azure BLOB to Raw, Confirmed and Model layer within Snowflake cloud platform on Azure
- Auditing and Compliance
- Query performance optimization
- Troubleshooting and Support
- SCIM, replication of AD Groups connected to RLS
- Build technical design documents
- Capacity planning
Qualifications
- 8 -10+ years experience with integrating various systems including on prem, cloud based, internal and vendor hosted solutions
- Experience designing software and infrastructure solutions
- Knowledge of frontend & backend development
